Canberra, ACT, the birthplace of Australia's Federation,

south-west of Sydney and 650 kilometres north-east of Melbourne. Once out of the
Sydney built-up area, most of the distance to Canberra is via multi-lane divided
carriage-way for most of he way. A typical car journey from Sydney will take about 3.5 hours.
Alternatively you can travel from Sydney by train.
If coming from Melbourne, again a good dual lane road is available
to Yass for the final 30 min run into Canberra.

Canberra. Travelling the 10km to the city from the airport takes about fifteen
